Meet the Dog Warden

Are you a dog owner in the Oxford area? Mark your calendars, ODS’s Dog Warden is hosting a series of pop-up events where you can get a free engraved dog tags and poo bags, as well as connect with them, ask questions, and address any concerns you may have regarding our four-legged companions.

Here are the dates and locations:

  • Wednesday, May 22: Bury Knowle Park, Headington, near the London Road gateway.

  • Tuesday, May 28: Florence Park, Cowley, near Florence Park Road entrance.

  • Thursday, June 6: Blackbird Leys Park, near the bridge in the center of the park.

  • Wednesday, June 12: Cutteslowe Park, between the park office and Café.

Each event will run from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, providing ample time for you to drop by, engage with the Dog Warden, and take advantage of the offerings.

Additionally, the events will serve as educational platforms, where important topics such as handling, welfare, and behavioural training for dogs will be discussed. The team will also share insights on staying safe and respectful when encountering other animals like cows, horses, and ground-nesting birds while out and about with your furry friend.
